The Sow Bug is a pattern that imitates sow bugs and will double as a scud. Rivers that have a healthy vegetation population will more than likely have scuds and sowbugs. Light to dark grey and olive to light olive are colors that catch fish. Color does not seem to be that much of a deal-breaker for the fish. Fish feed on sow bugs and scuds opportunistically and will feed on them when they see them.
