Acid Ant

The Acid Ant is a Galloup pattern and works very well. This pattern fishes well on the surface or submerged and fished as a drowned ant. Fish feed on submerged terrestrials more than some fishermen know and should never be overlooked as an option. Dropping a small ant or beetle off of a larger hopper is a killer way to pick up those fish that do not trust the surface.  Hot, bright, sunny days are great for the fishermen but not always the greatest days to catch fish on the surface. Submerge a terrestrial and see how your luck changes!
