The Copper John’s fly pattern has become one of those patterns that have taken fly fishing by storm since the late ‘90s. This is a pattern that has a bead head and a body of copper wire. This pattern gets down where the fish are in a hurry and has proven to be a pattern you need to have in your fly box. An excellent mayfly nymph imitation.
